Instructions: DVD with Avidemux to create
If you want to create your finished video project to a DVD, proceed as follows:
- Click in the menu bar to "Auto" and select "dvd". Then confirm with "OK".
- Select "File" > "Information". Under "Frame Rate" should be the value of either 29.970 or 23.976. If not, click in the menu bar, click "Video" > "Filters". Adjust the Filter "Resample FPS", the Frame Rate manually to one of the above-mentioned values.
- Then, under "Video Output" Option to "Configure" and then select the tab "Advanced Settings". Be sure that the maximum bit rate exceeds the value of 9.8 MBit/s.
- Select a suitable Audio Codec, such as "AC3 (Aften)" and set under "Audio Output" > "Filter" the Resampling to 48 kHz.
- Under "Output Format" to click the Option "Mpeg-PS Muxer (ff)".
- Save your project as a MPG file. The conversion process may take several minutes.
- The Video is now in the correct Format to be burned to a DVD. The DVD final to create, burn the file with an Authoring Tool, such as WinX DVD Author on a recordable DVD.
