The recording format in the Google camera App to change
- You open the camera App and call with a swipe gesture from the left to the right of the menu.
- Tap the bottom right, click the Gear icon and open the settings.
- Tap under the section "General settings" > "resolution & quality".
- Under "camera" you can change now the resolution for both Front and rear camera, and therefore also the Format of the file. You have the choice between the formats 4:3 and 16:9.
