Correction mode in Word, activate and use
You have written a Text ready, and want him to let experts correct, or in terms of content, critical view, save it in the activated correction mode. To do this, proceed as follows.
- In the Word menu, open the Review tab and activate the command "track Changes" in the button "tracking". Icon and command are now highlighted in blue. Everything is now deleted, or added, now appears in the default red or a red strike-through in your document.
- What Changes you want to appear in your Text, you can select the sub-menu "Markup view". This is visible when you click on the little triangle next to "Markup view". Put a check mark in front of the entries with the corrections you want to see in the document.
- Also, the formatting of the corrections you can change. To do this, go in the sub-menu "Markup view" on the entry for "speech bubbles". Default is "Only the formatting and comments in speech bubbles show". If you want to, for example, to see all the Changes outside of the text, put a check mark in front of "Revisions in balloons show".
- You will now receive a corrected and annotated the Text come back, you can decide whether you accept all Changes, or whether you need to check the syntax of this step. Open the sub-menu to the command, "Accept Check" on the tab and specify there how you want to proceed.
- Maybe the proof-reader also had substantive comments on the Text. These can be inserted by clicking the command "New comment" in the menu of the tab "Check" is clicked. It is now at the point where the mouse is in the Text, a comment is inserted.
- You get back an annotated document, you can jump over the commands "previous item" and "next item" in the button "comments" from comment to comment.
