To install the Service Pack 1 for Office 2013

The Service Pack 1 for Office 2013, you can install in two ways:
  • Installation via Windows-Update
  • Installation with the Download package from the Microsoft website.

Service Pack 1: Installation via Windows Update

If you have not enabled the automatic Windows Update, follow the steps below to start the Download and the Installation:
  • Click on Start - control panel - Windows Update
  • Click on the Link "check for Updates".
  • After successful search you will see the Update named "Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 (KB 2850036) 64-Bit Edition". Select the Update via the check box and click on "install Updates". The Update will now be downloaded and installed.

Service Pack 1: Installation using the Download package

You want to install Service Pack 1 for Microsoft Office 2013 on multiple computers, we recommend the Installation using the Download package. This allows you to load the file only once and you can use as often as required. To install the Update, proceed as follows:
  • Download the Service Pack from the Microsoft Download Center to download.

  • Accept the license terms and confirm the Installation by clicking on "Next".
