So you can eliminate the Google notifications on your Mac
Google offers you the ability to individually set whether or what kind of notifications in the menu bar of the Macs appear. The notifications for calendar events, for example, can be quite useful.
- In the Chrome Browser first, click on the "settings", found under the Chrome menu button.
- In the menu "settings" go to "show Advanced settings".
- In the section "privacy" click the Button "content settings".
- You can then choose between three options under the "notifications" section.
- You have the choice between "display Desktop notifications for all sites allow" or "ask when a site Desktop to view notifications" and "show Desktop notifications do not allow any site".
