Mac: GIF as a Desktop Background use

Also on Mac you GIF can set files as your Desktop Background. We will show you what you need and how it works.

Prerequisite: App allows animated Background

Only with on-Board means, it is unfortunately not possible, animated backgrounds present. That is, you need an additional program, the the display.
  • The program "Animated Desktop", in addition to the background color and even the Frames per Second setting, so how fluid and fast the Whole run. Depending on which program you use, it is relatively simple to a desired GIF image as a Background to set up.
  1. Open the program "Animated Desktop". Here you can either drag the GIF file into the designated area by Drag&Drop in, or use the search box to a GIF animated file. To do this, the Safari Browser opens.
  2. Once you have dragged the file into the box, you can adjust the scaling, background color and Frame number.
  3. With "Set Desktop Image" to confirm your settings, and set the Background of your GIF image.
By the way: you can with Mac OS X and even Videos as a Desktop Background set.
