On the computer name under Mac OS X change
By default, your computer name is formed according to the scheme "s ". If you want to rename your Mac yourself, you can do it in the settings:
- Open the Apple Icon in the upper left, the "system settings".
- Here, select the Option "releases".
- Under "device name" you will find the current name of your computer, for example, "Peter's MacBook Air".
- Click in the text box and enter your desired name. The Change saves Mac OS X automatically.
