To set the default browser in Windows 8
You install a new Browser on your PC, ask this in the rule itself, whether it should be set as your default browser. This did not work, or you want to make the Change later, this is easiest done via the PC settings of Windows 8:
- On the tile interface of Windows 8, the term "default programs". Click the search results "settings for default Apps".
- In the area of "web browser", select the name of the current default browser. A new window opens, in which all the installed browsers listed.
- Click on the name of the browser, the Change is accepted immediately.
