Outlook: the safe senders list transfer

The safe senders list in Outlook, you can transfer when you switch the PC Office a new or a second computer to use to install. We will show you how it works.

The safe sender list from Outlook

The safe senders list is the blocked senders list not in the. PST file (Personal Store), but may be separately reconstructed secured. Depending on the Version of Outlook, the call to the required Dialogue is slightly different:
  1. In Outlook 2007, open the command "actions | Junk E Mail | Junk E-Mail options".
  2. In Outlook 2010, select in the menu ribbon of the home tab, click in the section "Delete" icon on the "Junk E-Mail" and run the command "Junk E-Mail options".
  3. In the tab "Safe senders" you can now find the wanted list. Here you can select individual entries and then "edit", "Remove", or manually "Add".
  4. To back up the data, click on "Export". Navigate to the desired folder, type in "file name" is a name for the new text file, and then click "Save".
  5. You can also export in the tab "Blocked senders" also the revocation list. There are pure text files, they are between the versions easily interchangeable.

List to transfer to another PC

  1. To Transfer the data you have to copy the generated text file to the other System, start Outlook and navigate back to the same dialog window.
  2. Now click the Import button, select the. TXT file, and then click "Open". The data are integrated without question into the existing list of Outlook.
