What is Isofix?
- Behind Isofix hides a standardised Installation system for child car seats.
- Hereby the seat by using the straps you can safe your car connect.
- Since 2014, almost all the car models with Isofix mounting brackets fitted. However, there are also manufacturers using this System for a long time. If your vehicle is equipped with it, you can read in the owner's manual of your vehicle.
- Make sure that your Isofix seat for your vehicle model has been tested and approved.

Isofix in the vehicle fix - how to
- You put in your vehicle are the two Isofix mounts free. Accurate information on where the brackets are to be found in the owner's manual of your Car.
- On the child seat to unlock the Pliers and pull it out then.
- You place the child seat and press the Pliers against the bracket in your vehicle, until the two modules snap into place.
- Slide the seat up to the Backrest of the rear seat or the front passenger seat.
- The seat does not rotate or tilt, you have installed it correctly.
- You notice that the headrest of the seat interferes with installation, you can remove them. Do not forget, however, the headrest, at the latest, then again, if you remove the child seat. Head restraints are in accordance with road traffic approval regulations for vehicles up to 3,5 t on the front outdoor sitting.
