PayPal – the Online payment service
The service PayPal is used predominantly for Online Shopping. You can select it directly at the Shop during the payment process.
- After that, you only need to enter your Bank code (BLZ) or the name of your Bank.
- You will be automatically redirected to the respective Login page of your Bank. There, you will need to login with your data from Online Banking.
- Customers without Online Banking function not be able to use this service unfortunately.
- You have logged in successfully, you must agree to the Transfer and in the next step, via TAN procedure authorize.
- After successful payment, you will immediately get the confirmation to Save or Print displayed.

PayPal: fees and security
- The money is directly deposited from your checking account; there are no additional costs or fees.
- The security is here in the first place: The payment takes place in the secure context between you and your Bank – it cannot be used for third party services.
- GiroPay merely transmits the transfer data to the Bank and receives the Bank Transfer confirmation. The trader is informed of the payment, so the shipping of the goods can be made.
