One Drive storage to increase space for free
As a new customer you get with OneDrive currently 7 GB of free storage. You were already a customer of the predecessor Skydrive, 25 GB available.
- If you invite friends to OneDrive, you can get up to 5 gigabytes of storage space.
- Enable automatic photo Upload on your mobile devices, you can even get an additional 3 GB free.

This 15 GB of free storage, enough for you even you can purchase additional memory. To do this, click in the left column to "manage storage" and "memory request", and select from the list the size of the extension. The costs depend on the size of the package:
- 50 GB costs 19 euros in the year
- 100 GB costs 37 euros per year
- and 200 GB you get for 74 Euro per year (as of June 2014)
