Update via PCIe card

Best to add SATA with a PCI-Express Controller card. So not only do you have the full speed, but can also decide how many SATA ports do you want to have.
  1. You open your PC and look if your motherboard has a free PCIe Slot. They are based on the picture on the right. It doesn't matter whether it is PCIe x1 or x16 because the x1 fit in a x16.

  6. You close your PC and connect it to the power.
  7. After the power is turned on, your Computer should recognize the card automatically and the SATA Ports provide.
