Motherboard info via Reg Edit
- Type in the start menu "regedit".
- Then navigate to the key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Hardware\Description\ System\BIOS".
- In the right pane, Windows now shows you the motherboard manufacturer, the serial number, and also also the frequently required BIOS Version.
