Door phone via Fritzbox set up - so it goes

You can connect to your door intercom with your Fritzbox Router and setup. For details on the procedure, we will show you in this practical tip.

Fritzbox: door phone set up so it works

So you can connect your door phone with the Fritzbox, it must have an a/b interface that uses multi-frequency dialing. This Information you can see in the manual of the intercom.
  1. You can open the user interface of the Fritz box and log in with your data.
  2. Then click "telephony" and then click the button "configure New device".
  3. Here, the Option "to activate the door phone with a/b interface" and confirm with "Next" is now.
  4. In the next step, you need to enable the port to which the door phone is connected and confirm with "Next".
  5. In the fields "extension numbers" to specify the numbers of each ring.
  6. Under "ringing forward to" you can specify at which number the ringing to be forwarded. You can here choose between one or all of the phones.
  7. Save the settings with "Next" and then "Apply".

Additional settings on the Doorphone

If you need to configure the intervals for a busy tone at the door phone itself, here are the values:
  • Busy signal: 500 MS tone, 500 MS Pause, + / - 20ms (425Hz +/-25Hz)
  • Ring tone: 1s tone 4s Pause +/-100ms
  • Note: These settings are based on the 1TR110-Standard.
