A question of the model: Some of the Smartphones will start without a battery
A universally valid answer to this question, there is not. Some of the Smartphones with a removable battery can also be used only with the power supply unit to start. The majority of the Smartphones will not work without a battery, however.
- When you take out your battery, you will see the contacts that connect your Smartphone to the battery. Most Smartphones need to be connected to these contact points in the battery to start at all.
- Although there is the possibility to solder the contacts so that your phone runs without battery. However, you can't make these modifications, mostly undo. If you are not an expert, it is inadvisable, therefore, to penetrate.
- However, you can test whether your Smartphone also works without the battery. Remove the battery, connect the charging cable and your Smartphone in the normal turn on.
