Here you will find the E-Mail settings for your cable-Germany-Mail
- The HTC Mail App asks you at the App-Start to your mail service provider. Here, select "Other (POP3/IMAP)". As an E-Mail address and password you enter your normal cable-Germany-Email-data. Then you need to select "Manual setup" and set the "POP3" as the Protocol.
- In the Android App "Kaiten Mail" you will find the settings is slightly different: Here, press in the main menu at the top right on the big Plus icon to add a new account. As an E-Mail address and password, enter again your usual cable-Germany-Mail-data. After that, click on "Manual setup" and choose in the next step, "POP3 account".

You have found the settings in the Android App, you need the appropriate data for the incoming server:
- E-Mail address: your full cable-Germany-Mail
- User name: Again your full cable-Germany-Email (with "@kabeldeutschland.de" at the end)
- Password/password: your normal cable-Germany password
- POP3 Server: pop3.kabelmail.de
- (Server)Port: 995
- Security type: SSL

When Setting the output server, you need to make sure to tick "registration required" and the user name and password the data entered. The other details are as follows:
- SMTP Server: smtp.kabelmail.de
- Port: 465
- Security type: SSL
Note: With a free cable-Germany-Mail-Account you can only use POP3 as a Protocol. The package is a cable e-mail Power, we recommend that you use E-Mail via IMAP. In the next tip we will explain the differences between IMAP and POP3.
